AUSTRALIA POINT SYSTEM (189/190/489)

Australia Point System is the most organized point-based system of immigration. If you want to immigrate to Australia, you must calculate your total points in advance to confirm your eligibility status.
You must score a minimum of 65 points based on the factors, i.e. age, work experience, language ability, education, etc. The points table below clearly reflects the points you get for each profile factor.

Australia has implemented few key changes in its immigration point system with effect from November 16, 2019. These changes include points for a single applicant, increase in skilled nomination points (for subclass 190 and 491 visas), the addition of points for partner’s English proficiency level, etc. Australia has cancelled Subclass 489 Visa and introduced a new visa Subclass 491 w.e.f. 16th November 2019.
